Offshore Drilling Rig – “Ocean Patriot”

Scaffolding offshore, New Zealand, included a hanging scaffold to the underside of the helideck. The rig was then towed across Bass Strait to Victoria with the scaffold in situ. A full rig refurbishment included a major cantilever scaffold 25 metres long by 10 metres wide from the rig superstructure. Encapsulation was required to contain residue from blasting and painting in the marine park.

BHP & FMG Monorail – Train Load-Out Shutdown – Internal Scaffold for Wear Plate Replacement

Orvad’s effective design and Layher Allround Scaffolding system greatly reduce the scaffold erection time. The use of the monorail drastically decreased the time to replace each wear plate. The increased shutdown tool time allows more plates to be changed.

ASC Submarine – Full Scaffold & Encapsulation

Fully enclosed temporary workshop prevented contaminate to the Cockburn Sound, whilst provided all weather work environment. Dust extraction system was also installed.
